Trasolini addresses Liberal candidacy rumours

Last month, Port Moody Mayor Joe Trasoilini announced he wouldn't be seeking re-election in the upcoming November municipal elections. But rumours have been circulating Mr. Trasolini, who worked on Christy Clark's first provincial election campaign, might run for the Liberals. So what does the mayor have to say about that talk?

"I've heard a number of rumours. One, the one you've mentioned. The other one is that I'm running for the NDP. And other is that I'm running for the Conservatives," he told Public Eye.

"But, right now, I am savouring the moment. Anything is possible in the future. But I have not had any provincial Liberal approach me (about running). So if there's rumours out there, someone else is starting them because it's not me who's starting them."

Mr. Trasolini's first bid for Port Moody's mayoralty was endorsed by Ms. Clark.

Im more worried about Kevin Falcon than Iam about the markets, putting us at risk dealing with China, the China bubble is going to burst, asian stocks being down graded is a good thing. Stay away from dealing with China you will just lose!
