Worst place to work in government gets premier's award

Last night, the provincial government's Olympic Games secretariat was given the premier's innovation and excellence award for organizational excellence. But Public Eye readers may also remember the now-defunct secretariat appears to have been one of the worst places to work in government. In September 2010, we revealed it received the poorest overall work environment score in the civil service for the second year in a row. This, according to an employee surrey conducted between April 19 and May 7 of that year. Fancy that!
