Campbell will be feted, says party president

Provincial Liberal president Mickey Patryluk has said the party will be going ahead with plans to hold a tribute for Gordon Campbell at its upcoming biennial convention. The present schedule for that convention includes no mention of such a tribute. But, speaking with Public Eye, Ms. Patryluk said "there will be" one at the event. However, it's unknown whether Mr. Campbell will be in attendance for that feting. The Globe and Mail's Gary Mason was the first to report on plans for the tribute - a day before the Liberals' leadership vote.
