Krog backing Farnworth's leadership bid

Provincial New Democrat leadership candidate Mike Farnworth looks set to roll out another MLA endorsement tomorrow. Our understanding is Leonard Krog is set to announce he's backing Mr. Farnworth's bid to succeed Carole James. The Nanaimo MLA had earlier considered competing for that job himself, having ran in the party's 2003 leadership race. Mr. Krog's backing means Mr. Farnworth will now have the endorsement of nine MLAs - more than his principal competitors Adrian Dix and John Horgan.

Krog with his temper problems plus colourful foul language is not a positive addition to Farnworth.

Our family votes trump Leonard's single vote. Hey it's a democratic process and when the shuffling is all done, Adrian Dix will be the NDP leader
