Du Toit's replacement has child protection background

Earlier, we reported former health services chief administrative officer Stephen Brown has replaced Lesley du Toit as the deputy minister of children and family development. But Mr. Brown, who has a background in organizational psychology, also has experience in the child protection sector. Before moving to British Columbia, he was chief executive officer of the Ma'mowe Capital Region Child and Family Services Authority in Alberta, having also spent a year leading a review of the province's Child Welfare Act. This, according to an autobiography posted on Royal Roads University's Website.
