Liquor branch fails to check ID-checking commitment

In fiscal 2008/09, the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch reported its stores were just 56 complaint with a requirement to ask anyone who appears to be under 25 for two pieces of identification. The branch committed to increasing that embarrassing compliance rate to 100 percent in fiscal 2009/10. But British Columbians will have no means of knowing whether it achieved that target. The reason: according to the branch's latest service plan "LCLB did not conduct an ID compliance program in fiscal 2009/10." Fancy that!
