NDP frontrunner's announcements lacking

Provincial New Democrat leadership candidate Adrian Dix's campaign appears to have gone dark. As of tomorrow, it will have been six days since that campaign rolled out any announcements - the last being Joy MacPhail's endorsement of Mr. Dix's candidacy on Thursday last week. At publication time, news of that endorsement had yet to be posted on Mr. Dix's Website nor has his list of supporters been updated. By comparison, over the same period, competitor John Horgan's campaign announced the support of past party president Sav Dhaliwal and lobbied for the protection of the E&N railway corridor. Meanwhile, Mike Farnworth's campaign has made noise about service issues at Surrey Memorial Hospital, outlined a poverty reduction strategy, received the endorsement of two Victoria councillors and called for tougher laws against animal abusers.
