Weekly Wrap Up - January 21, 2011

This week, Public Eye exclusively revealed:

* complaints about a last minute flood of money and membership forms at the New Democrats' provincial office;

* provincial New Democrat membership forms submitted by Vancouver-Kensington MLA Mable Elmore were among those investigated by the party;

* a lawyer who has given legal counsel to the New Democratic Party caucus, and whose firm has a relationship with the NDP opposition, also lobbied the provincial party's health critic;

* Kevin Falcon's brother claimed new party members would be given a "complimentary drink" at the event supporting the former health services minister's provincial Liberal leadership bid; and

* questions about whether Mr. Falcon will feel beholden to his business community backers should he become premier.
