Earlier, we exclusively told you two complaints have been filed about a group of provincial New Democrat membership forms submitted late yesterday at the party's headquarters. Now we can tell you those complaints were filed by Richard Tones, who is managing leadership candidate Mike Farnworth's campaign, and Fraser-Nicola MLA Harry Lali, who is himself a leadership contestant. Paper membership forms needed to be submitted yesterday evening by 5:00 in order for those sign-ups to be eligible to participate in the upcoming leadership vote. Each form was required to have an individual payment attached. But the forms under dispute are alleged to have not met this requirement. The leadership vote is scheduled to take place on April 17.
