Advertising agency head backs Clark's leadership bid

The head of the advertising firm that worked on Mayor Gregor Robertson's election campaign is supporting Christy Clark's bid to win the provincial Liberals leadership. In an interview with Public Eye, Ms. Clark's spokesperson Shane Mills explained FD Element chief executive officer Don Millar is "helping out with the online stuff. He's an old friend of Christy's." Mr. Millar's firm was recently responsible for the Independent Power Producers of British Columbia's advocacy campaign during the 2009 provincial election. Also involved with Ms. Clark's leadership bid is John Paul Fraser, a vice-president in National Public Relations Inc.'s Vancouver officer. In an email, Mr. Fraser confirmed that involvement stating, "I've known Christy for over 20 years, and I am volunteering my personal time to her campaign."

Good to see the heat being brought to the fight... but hey Team Christy you need to show some ads... like Christy Clark at the CKNW Mike, Christy Clark flinging a hockey puck with her goalie son intercepting, and of course Christy in a flight suit with an ear-to-ear grin wearing a Santa hat! On PublicEyeOnline.com!

She is sure to lose now if he was responsilbe for Robertson who may not be returning as mayor, including his council, not to many voters are impressed with him.
