In the house of labour

Today, the provincial New Democrats' plans to hold an emergency caucus meeting were abruptly postponed in favour of giving time for private discussion to take place. Indeed, Public Eye has learned those private discussions - which have stretched into the evening - have been occurring at the British Columbia Federation of Labour's headquarters in Vancouver. Carole James called the emergency caucus meeting on Friday in response to increasing dissent surrounding her leadership, promising to hold MLAs "accountable for their behaviour."
