Is Coleman out of the race?

Today, Attorney General Mike de Jong will announce he's running for the provincial Liberal leadership. And it's expected Rich Coleman will step out to the starting gate tomorrow. But what if that doesn't happen? Is it possible Mr. Coleman won't be entering the leadership race? Will an announcement about that decision be made in a few hours? Inquiring minds want to know!

Solicitor-General Rich Coleman has announced he will not be running for the BC Liberal leadership.

He says he sat down with his family on the weekend, and he enjoys that family life too much to go after the top job.

Coleman says he had raised more than enough money to mount a campaign and had planned to announce his leadership bid tomorrow, but had second thoughts.

Too bad. Had confindence in him that he would be the leader that would have the cajones to reign in the "secretive" spending that goes on in the Constituency offices. There has never been any accountability or audits and meanwhile seniors are cutting their daily meds in half. Shameful!
