Ripped from the headlines

Earlier, we reported David Cubberley and Corky Evans have already shown up for today's British Columbia New Democrat provincial council meeting. And you can now add Dale Lovick's name to the list of former legislators who are gathering for that meeting, which takes place today at Inn at the Laurel Point. Mr. Lovick made headlines earlier this month when he told The Province's Michael Smyth "She's had two chances at it, and it didn't work...It's not personal." This, when asked about the Nanaimo-North Cowichan constituency association resolution calling for leadership convention in 2011 - something that could put party leader Carole James out of a job.
