Today, British Columbia New Democrats are meeting in Victoria for what is expected to be a contentious provincial council meeting. The council - the party's governing body - is scheduled to debate resolutions calling for a leadership convention in 2011 and Cariboo North MLA Bob Simpson's reinstatement to caucus. And that could explain why former legislators David Cubberley and Corky Evans have already showed up at the meeting - with other ex-MLAs also expected to be in attendance. Earlier, Mr. Evans voiced his opposition to Mr. Simpson's expulsion from caucus and his support for a leadership convention.
