Provincial elected officials aren't the only ones sitting on British Columbia's cabinet committees. According to a backgrounder distributed by the government during Monday's cabinet reorganization, BC Hydro Corp. chair Dan Doyle is an ex officio member of the climate action and clean energy committee. Mr. Doyle's background includes being the transportation ministry's deputy and the Vancouver Olympic organizing committee's venue construction executive vice-president. In 2008, he was also charged with implementing the recommendations of the government's controversial pharmaceutical task force. According to a government spokesperson, Mr. Doyle has been a member of the committee since last fall. But that information hadn't previously been disclosed.

Sean, maybe you should avoid the verb "charged" when referring to people associated with BC Liberals. People might assume the wrong thing.

Really...I thought the verb rather fitting...
