Will Fight HST's resources be used for partisan purposes? Well, the anti-harmonized sales tax campaign's lead organizer Chris Delaney has certainly given critics another reason to think so. Earlier today, Mr. Delaney - who recently left the provincial Conservatives to become the spokesperson for BC First - mistakenly sent out a news release from the political party using Fight HST's email address. In an interview with Public Eye, he explained the media email list for Fight HST and BC First is "one in the same. But it's my own personal email list. We don't send the press releases to the people at Fight HST. So the actual 3,000 or 4,000 people that are signed up with Fight HST do not get these." The following is a complete copy of the aforementioned release.
