Is there a doctorate in the house?

Last week, we reported provincial Liberal backbencher Gordon Hogg is working on an interdisciplinary doctorate at Simon Fraser University, studying the variables that impact the wellbeing of families. But he's not the only government caucus member that can be found in the groves of academia. During the recent election, party candidate Norm Letnick used his pursuit of a doctorate in health economics at the University of British Columbia Okanagan as a selling point during his successful bid to become the MLA for Kelowna-Lake Country.
