Family man

Provincial Liberal legislator Gordon Hogg has gone back to school with the rest of British Columbia. Public Eye has learned Mr. Hogg started work last week on an interdisciplinary doctorate at Simon Fraser University. The former cabinet minister, who has occasionally guest lectured for Simon Fraser's educational leadership program, will be studying the variables that impact the wellbeing of families. Mr. Hogg is taking the doctorate, which isn't expected to interfere with his duties as the MLA for Surrey-White Rock, out of personal interest. He'll be working on a single course this fall - one in statistical analysis.
