Just saying hello?

Last week, we reported Gordon Campbell showed up at a provincial Liberal barbecue where biennial convention delegate selection meetings took place for the party's seven South Island constituency associations. That got us wondering whether the embattled premier would be attending the selection meetings for other associations, where members are also casting ballots on whether they support his continued leadership of the party. So we weren't surprised when we heard Mr. Campbell attended and gave a speech at this past weekend's delegate selection meeting for Fort Langley-Aldergrove - Housing and Social Development Minister Rich Coleman's riding. He also stuck around for Mr. Coleman's annual volunteer appreciation barbecue, which took place at residence of Carousel Farm Thoroughbred Partnerships founder Roy Jacobson.
