"The NDP is touting its first regional forum as a chance to talk to the public, business and academics about the future of B.C. But there were no representatives from major forest licensees, no mining interests and only a smattering of small business people at the economic forum here Tuesday." That's how The Daily News's Cam Fortems reported on the New Democrats' second Our Province Our Future event, which took place in Kamloops last week. And, so far, things don't seem to be going much better on the initiative's Website. As of Sunday - 58 days after kicking-off that consultation effort - there were only 14 posts on the site's discussion forum.
