Earlier, we reported former prime minister Jean Chretien might mention Liberal MP John McKay bill on corporate accountability for resource extraction companies during his keynote speech at the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia awards dinner. We're told that didn't happen - with Mr. Chretien abandoning the question and answer portion of that speech because the ceremony was running behind schedule.
