Gordon Campbell seems to be thinking a lot about the province's school boards. Last year, at the Union of British Columbia Municipalities annual general meeting, eyebrows were raised when the premier speculated about restoring taxing authority to those boards. And our understanding the subject of school district governance came up again on Saturday when Mr. Campbell spoke to the provincial Liberals' presidents' council meeting, with the premier questioning whether it makes sense to have 60 school boards.

Of course he wants to get rid of school boards... all of his old lackeys from the Christy Clark days have been exposed as Liberal puppets and many current boards now are (gasp!) openly critical of Ministry of Ed debacles.
