Late harvest

Last month, we reported the provincial government will be establishing a new independent farmers' advocate to help landowners understand their property rights and negotiate with the oil and gas industry. But that initiative seems to be behind schedule. Back in July, Fort St. John's 100.1 Moose FM reported "the Province wants to have the advocate position in place as of October 1st, 2009." Fancy that!
