Going for a three-peat?

Esquimalt town councillor Randall Garrison has "agreed to meet" this week with local federal New Democrat constituency association executives about running for the party in the next election. Mr. Garrison revealed that news in an interview with Public Eye today. But he stressed his "primary concern" remains the unfinished business he has as a municipal politician. Mr. Garrison, who declined to name the exact day he'll be meeting with the Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca constituency association executive, ran in that riding during the 2005 and 2006 elections, coming in second to incumbent candidate Keith Martin.
