Today, federal Treasury Board president Vic Toews reminded Canada's Crown corporations and other public organizations they shouldn't be using paid consultant lobbyists to communicate with government. So does British Columbia's attorney general think such a stricture should be introduced here? After all, as reported by The Tyee's Andrew MacLeod, one of the province's Crown agencies actually hired a consultant to approach government about pay for its top executive.
