Out of committee

The Western Canada Wilderness Committee's Ken Wu may soon be using his campaign skills on the election trail. Speaking on Public Eye Radio yesterday, Mr. Wu said he intends to help federal Green leader Elizabeth May win Saanich-Gulf Islands if there's an election in the spring. "I followed Elizabeth May in her campaigns around South Moresby when I was 12 years old," he explained. "And so I would definitely be interested in seeing if I can volunteer or help out in different ways." Saanich-Gulf Islands is presently held by Conservative parliamentarian Gary Lunn.

Ken wu seems to be a sharp guy. but backing the Green candidate from somewhere else is a lost cause. Brioney Penn is greener than the present drop in candidate and even with the NDP not running a candidate, the power brokers in the riding somehow got Lunn( Mr. Do nothing) relected. She simply is muddying the water, and one wonders where she will drop into next time around. You would have been smarter to support either main party against Lunn than some flake.

There will not be another time for May. Her desperate flailing string of losses guarantee that Greens will dump her as Leader after this latest loss.
