Sunday morning, on Public Eye Radio, we'll speak with Oak Bay Mayor Christopher Causton about his bid for federal office. His opponent, New Democrat parliamentarian Denise Savoie talks about federal funding to opposition ridings. Provincial housing and social development critic Shane Simpson discusses questions about the government's commitment to "meaningful" illegal gaming investigations. And our rabble-rousing panel - Don Anderson, Eleanor Gregory, Bob Russell and Allan Warnke - debate the week that was in provincial and federal politics. You can listen to Public Eye Radio outside of Victoria by logging into CFAX 1070 between 8:00 and 10:00. If you have a question for one of our guests, you can email us or leave a comment below.
Bridge funding

Comments for the guests:
a) Not surprised Mary McNeil is getting slammed - she is just in too sensitive of a portfolio for a novice. Perhaps the Premier should have it or tell her to take Sean's advice about imagining being in charge of the Cancer Foundation.
b) The guy saying the schoolkids should get the tickets - daah! Of course, the BCLibs have enough to take credit for - benching and sending off three PacifiCats, cutting taxe$, suppressing the NDP, gorgeous women in cabinet who Maxim should call (and use the $$$ to save EIBI), a stud of a Premier, cop chases where the cop's being chased...
c) Stockwell Day has an easy ride to another term as MP, sadly to say. Not good for democracy...
