More Moe?

Will former cabinet minister Moe Sihota run for the presidency of the provincial New Democrats? Mr. Sihota hasn't returned recent phone calls from Public Eye. But he did make a newsworthy appearance this past July at the Canadian Union of Public Employees British Columbia's annual think tank. And he spoke earlier this month at a Fraser Institute event discussing the harmonized sales tax and the province's deficit. The New Democrats' sitting president Sav Dhaliwal has said he doesn't intend to run for that post at the party's upcoming November convention.

Moe might liven up the group that is running the party right now. I hear he is a speaker at our local riding meeting in Esquimalt

Rumour also has it that George Heyman of the Sierra Club will be running for the presidency as well.
