Major autism program changes to be announced

The ministry of children and family development will be announcing significant changes today to its autism programs. Details will be provided at 11:30 during a technical briefing for the media. But our understanding is the ministry may eliminate its early intensive behavioural intervention program, as well as changing the way families with autistic children receive government monies - from a direct funding to an invoice payment system.
