Abandonment issues

Last month, The Canadian Press's Maria Babbage reported federal Conservative parliamentarians have been "playing down Ottawa's role in convincing Ontario and B.C. to move towards tax harmonization, saying the federal government had nothing to do with the decision even though it's kicking in billions of dollars to ease the transition." And the party's Esquimalt Juan de Fuca candidate Troy DeSouza pushed back even further against the harmonized sales tax in a letter published in The Times Colonist over the weekend. "The HST program was started by the federal Liberals. Yet another tax grab is being made at the worst possible time for small businesses and average citizens."

Total cowards.

What ever happened to this or is this an Albertan Conservative + BCLib + warrior concept:

"We don't make a commitment and then run away at the first sign of trouble." (SOURCE)

Or...

"Leaders don’t sit in the bleachers.

"Leaders don’t carp from the sidelines.

"Leaders don’t cut and run at the first sign of trouble.

"Leaders stand for values.

"Leaders see the mission through."
(SOURCE)

Stop cutting and running, Conservative MPs. Stand and defend your leader and your HST assistance... or get a new leader. May I recommend Rich Coleman, Tasha Kheiriddin, Ezra Levant, Royal Canadian Army Lt. Vicki Huntington, Retired + MLA or possibly Gordon Campbell?

One more time: "Leaders see the mission through." So defend the HST or quit.

Signed;
