Task mastery?

Sunday morning, on Public Eye Radio, Simon Fraser University public policy analyst Doug McArthur joins us to discuss why he thinks the provincial New Democrats aren't up to the task of "acting as a public check on government's broad and general drift into a culture of deceit." And our rabble-rousing panel - Michael Geoghegan, Eleanor Gregory, The Tyee's Andrew MacLeod and Bob Russell - debate the week that was in provincial and federal politics. You can listen to Public Eye Radio outside of Victoria by logging into CFAX 1070 between 8:00 and 9:30. If you have a question for one of our guests, you can email us or leave a comment below.

Many British Columbians are upset with the BCNDP for having lost the election. Most of us have 20/20 vision when it comes to why they lost and there are probably 100 areas of focus that the NDP could win the next election on. Today you are reviewing Doug McArthur's idea that the NDP is not capable of Machiavellian politics. Certainly a valid point, although unfortunate, if true, for the NDP.

Is there a leader or party that he thinks is up to taking on the Liberals in this culture of deceit?
