Bad news releases

Yesterday, the Campbell administration announced it had cut discretionary grants by 30 percent in fiscal 2009/10, saving $354 million. That's $296 million more than the seven percent cut the administration said it would make in February. But the government hasn't reported out of which grants have been cut. Finance Minister Colin Hansen tried to explain why, when asked about the issue by The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer.
