A great step for Berman?

Will PowerUp Canada executive director Tzeporah Berman be appointed to the provincial government's new green energy advisory task force? After all, according to an email obtained by The Tyee's Garrett Zehr, Ms. Berman described that group - which was first mentioned in the Liberals' election platform - as a "great step and a result of our work." So we asked Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources Minister Blair Lekstrom that question on his way into a cabinet meeting.

Well done Sean, I suppose no suprise here that TzeB is moving up the corporate green ladder. Poor old D.Suzuki is being replaced by a younger enviro who knows how to manoeuvre in the upper echelons of the corporate world. My question is, how sincere is she? This play she has made during the past election to slay the NDP dragon, and support IPP's in exchange for a world with less Tar Sands action will be a tricky act to pull off with any results that actually do more than enhance her own stature.
