Earlier, we reported Glen Sanford had ended his "short-term project" as the provincial New Democrats' caucus communication director. And now we can tell you who's replacing him: in an email distributed yesterday, caucus executive director Mary O'Donoghue announced communications officer Sara Goldvine had been promoted to that post. The following is a complete copy of that email.

Subject: Announcement - New Director of Communications
I am very pleased to announce that Sara Goldvine has been hired as the new Director of Caucus Communications. Sara brings a wealth of enthusiasm, skill and experience to the job. In every role Sara has taken on for our caucus and leader she has demonstrated a keen understanding of the needs of caucus members and a relentless commitment to our success. Please join me in congratulating Sara and welcoming her to her new role.
Though Sara begins her new duties today, our former director, Glen Sanford will be returning on August 19 and through the first week of Session to assist with the transition. We are sorry to see Glen go, but very much appreciate his able service and willingness to assist caucus as we head into the Legislature.
