Earlier, Public Eye told you about Fightback editorial board member Mike Palecek and former Vancouver city councillor Tim Louis effort to "take back" the provincial New Democrats on behalf of "left-leaning people" in the party. And that effort will continue next Thursday, when organizers to "discuss future activities and to elect a steering committee." The following is a complete copy of the details of the event.

The first meeting of the Take Back the Party campaign garnered a lot of interest and has sparked much discussion. The potential is great but we must capitalize on our momentum, take the next step, and begin to organize.
Therefore, a second meeting in Vancouver has been organized in order to discuss future activities and to elect a steering committee.

1. Approval of the agenda
2. Report on activities of the campaign
3. Discussion of activities, strategy and organization
4. Election of steering committee for the campaign in Vancouver
5. Any other business
