Du Toit takes a leave of absence

Here's a fascinating squib for those paying attention to the ministry of children and family development: our understanding is the department's top bureaucrat - Lesley du Toit - is taking a six-week leave of absence, beginning today.


If it's paid leave, then we have the right to ask and be told why...

And if it's not paid, why not?

Very interesting "temporary departure"...

Very interesting indeed.

Election coming up perhaps?

Is that LOA with or without pay?

Oh silly me that's a privacy/personnel issue so Government won't comment
