Now tell us what you really think

Here at Public Eye, we know some of our readers may have strong feelings about our reportage from time to time. For example, yesterday, Vision Vancouver parks board nomination candidate Thomas Lockhart said, "What can I say. You don't have to publish it. But, if you're going to be an asshole, you're going to ruin my political career." This, in response to questions about an account of his grenade-throwing experience in Cambodia. So now is your opportunity share those feelings anonymously. Because, today, 24 hours's online poll is asking this question: "Is 24 hours reporter Sean Holman an a--hole?"

Gosh.

I hope that poll question wasn't meant to be rhetorical.

And I hope, even more, that I'll be able to stop laughin' by, oh say, next Thursday.

is "Sean in a Hole" you ask ...??????

Sean is a hole...

a "BLACK-HOLE" ... !!!!!!!!

-----------------------------------------

It's where crappy politician's

can expect to find their career's ,,,
if they don't fly right...!

( ie: they can "SPIN" around for a while,,,
before being crushed by their own weight ...! )

--------- Please give him another 24 hours,

and 2-3 more radio-shows...!

because he's more like a neutron-star,

ie: he's a beacon amongst
the other , more common of "star's" ,
found in our Universe...!

I understand the number of candidates running for Vision is getting a little out of hand, but how could Vision Vancouver let Thomas Lockhart run for their Park Board nomination???? Maybe Vision is in need of some SERIOUS candidate training. Lockhart’s appalling actions and his lack of respect goes to shows that someone like himself is NOT cut out for to serve the public as an elected official.

First of all Sean, while I don’t agree with everything you write, I don’t think you are a “a-hole” and I don’t think Lockhart even had a political career for anyone to ruin. However, perhaps it is safer that it was squashed before it ever began. Lockhart as a Park commissioner.... I don’t even want to imagine what he would do on the park board after learning how he spends his vacation time...Maybe he would throw hand grenades in Lost Lagoon or Trout Lake? Set up shooting ranges throughout our parks, maybe for $300, he’d even supply the cow from the Stanley Park Petting Zoo!

All I can say is thank you for uncovering the truth before Vancouverites let him ride on Gregor’s coat tales and slide into office, along with his partner Sharon (a whole other set of problem) seriously, are we electing a gun enthusiast, who sexualizes guns, to make important desicions on our school board? These two deserve each other, however, what they do not deserve is to be elected by the voters of Vancouver!!!

I am amazed that anyone cares about him liking to shoot guns or throw grenades. He is a guy! Most guys I know of would love the chance to play around with things that blow up - it is in our DNA, it is in our nature.

Why do you think a show like MythBusters does so well?

Just because big booms are fun does not make anyone a gun nut or a crazy. Frankly, if I were in Vancouver I would be willing to consider Thomas Lockhart because he is clearing not a pandering mildly left of centre drone with NDP groupthink going through his head.
