Former Canadian Film and Television Production Association British Columbia Producers' Branch external relations and operations vice-president Leanore Copeland is being talked up as a possible Non-Partisan Association council candidate. But, when asked by Public Eye whether she was considering a run, Ms. Copeland said, "I can't comment on that right now. I hate giving no comments. But I can't comment." Nor would she comment on those promoting her as a possible provincial Liberal candidate in Vancouver-Fairview. Although she did say she would be "happy to comment" in the next "couple weeks."
