Communications director a federal liberal? That is a bad sign. Once NPA gets tainted with partisanship in any level of government, it is doomed.

I have yet to see any midterm polls on the city council, but seeing how hard Mayor Sam wants to be re-elected by trying to piece together an ensemble of campaigners, but I am afraid he wont be the only one wanting to be the mayor presiding over Olympics, within or outside NPA. Certainly I hope the Sam's take-over has completed because if he hasnt as half of his term has passed, his incumbency may just be challenged a lot sooner.

So why is there a need? Isn't there someone within in the NPA that could have accomplished the same thing?

Seems to be a bit of overkill for a position that doesn't need to exist.

I seem to recall this name as an C.A. for David Anderson in Victoria - sometime between 1993 and 2000.

I remember the last name, certainly. I couldn't forget the name.
