A life enhancing experience

Here's some extra Greens to add to your news diet: in an interview with Public Eye, Equanimity Communications Inc. principal Allan Hunkin confirmed he wants to run for the federal party in Port Moody-Westwood-Port Coquitlam. "Oh man, news travels fast," said Mr. Hunkin. "I haven't signed the papers. But I've certainly given it serious thought...I've pretty well decided (to run). I haven't sat down with the party and gone over the riding numbers. But, based on what I know right now, I'm in." Mr. Hunkin is also the chief executive officer of Success Media Group Inc. - "one of the largest audio broadcasters of life enhancement (programs) on the Internet." According to his biography, he has also had "first-hand experience in such diverse areas as farming, aircraft manufacturing, event management and Internet broadcasting." And he "holds diplomas and credentials in five different psychological models."

Hey Holman. It's Dagmar.

Seriously. Enough about Green party nomination "news". The party didn't get more than 5% lasttime and will be lucky to crack the double digits this time. It won't even elect one seat. What's with all the stories on people seeking Green nominations.

Love the environment, hate the envorinmentalists, that's what I say.

Thats what they may be saying about the NDP next time :-)

We've been hitting 13% nationally in the polls, and BC is ripe for a breakthrough.

That was one poll and most after it have been around 8-10%. The Green Party received less votes in 2006 in BC then it did in 2004. They received less votes in the last BC election then they did in the prior one.

They're wasting their govt subsidy in paying huge pay checks to "strategists" in Ottawa rather then to build up in key ridings.

Dan, pick a riding in BC and name the bet!

I'll put my money where my mouth is in other ways this time around, but I think there will be some interesting races to watch in Vancouver.
