Yesterday, the Times Colonist's Jeff Rud paraphrased Health Minister George Abbott as saying the provincial government would be releasing details about it's upcoming conversation on health this week. Which could explain why luminaries have been invited to attend a mid-morning announcement by Premier Gordon Campbell at BC Children’s Hospital this coming Thursday.

wonder if George has invited the Opposition health critic Adrian Dix to show up? Just kidding. George looks like he is due for a seizure each time Dix is mentioned. Consult with who? Nobody with actual questions. Maybe someone will ask why there are over 2,000 people on one doctors list for steroid injections. Some of those injections will mean less operations, drugs, and a better life for the folks who pay Abbott's wages.
