Earlier, we reported former federal Liberal candidate Gulzar Cheema wouldn't be running for the Conservative nomination in Newton-North Delta - beating a hasty retreat back to the Grits. So who is going to take on incumbent Liberal parliamentarian Sukh Dhaliwal? Well, in an interview, Paul Brar, whose brother Gary owns Bombay Banquet Hall Ltd., confirmed he's already campaigning for the post. And Modern Time Aluminum Co. Ltd. president Sucha Thind says there's a 50 percent chance he'll join the race. Meanwhile, Canadian Blood Services community development coordinator Gary Dhillon's name is being promoted as a possible candidate. But Mr. Dhillon hasn't yet returned a phone call from your humbled organ inquiring whether he wants the job.
You can run anybobdy as a Conservative and they will win this ridding. Sukh will have a tough time and he knows it. By the way good job by Nina and Gurmant getting the PM to attend an event attended by thousands of Indo Canadians at Bear Creek Park on Sunday. Harper made some good waves with the community and it made Nina look pretty good too. Gurmant is not out. look for him to try to kick Sukh aroung next election You could see the fear in Sukh''s eyes when he was making the rounds at the park...Go Gurmant Go !!!!
Talk about being a liberal these days.
It is no surprise that these liberal MP's are more than vulernable, you can even say they are despised. In one Richmond nomination, 6 people fought for tory nominatin to unseat the despised Raymond Chan, with the voting record, I say he is about done. As for for Sukh, I dont know what to say about him, but I think one less liberal can do Canada no harm.
Gurmant is not out. look for him to try to kick Sukh aroung next election You could see the fear in Sukh''s eyes when he was making the rounds at the park...Go Gurmant Go !!!!
Gurmant will never get past the party with his antics.
The local Conservatives would be fools to nominate him again.
That riding is best to choose someone else to
represent them in Ottawa.
The people of that riding deserve a higher quality candidate than Gurmant.
Gurmant is a baboon. I find it hard to believe anyone would vote for him.
THE PEOPLE OF THIS RIDING NEED TO KNOW GARY DHILLON IS THEIR MAN! YOUNG TALLENTED EDUCATED AND CONFIDENT. THIS MAN IS WILLING TO DO MORE THEN HIS PART , A LOUD AND CONFIDENT VOICE , A MAN NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK OUT FOR ALL PEOPLE....THIS MAN BELIEVES IN A MULITCULTURAL SOCIETY....LETS LET HIM SHOW US!!!
