Senator Larry Campbell will be hosting a Downtown Eastside roundtable while the federal Liberals are holding their caucus meeting in Vancouver. That's just one of the events listed on a draft master agenda of the meeting obtained by Public Eye. According to that agenda, the Grits will be also be showing off their alliteration skills by holding a "Westcoast Wonderful Wednesday Rally." After that rally, party members will head over to Rodney's Oyster Bar - the site of interim party leader Bill Graham hospitality event at Rodney's Oyster Bar. And, the next day, former prime minister Paul Martin will be the special guest at a fundraiser for West Vancouver/Sunshine Coast/Sea-to-Sky Country MP Blair Wilson - a case of two tastes that will surely go great together. The following is a complete copy of that agenda, which updates an early version distributed to select senior party members back in June.

I have to admit it's a busy agenda, and I am surprised that business audiences are actually inviting an opposition party to speak. They usually just want to hear from Ministers, because opposition critics are useless when it comes to contracts, permits, licences, approvals, etc.
I wonder to what degree BC is still considered "pick up" country by national Liberal strategists, but which I mean a place where Liberals might pick up seats, not just a place where too many average voters drive pickups.
Paul Martin!?...Have people still not realized that he is the angel of death? Those who are associated with him will soon be purged out of the party. Blair Wilsn might as well auction off some golf balls for his fundraiser instead of having Paul fly over to Vancouver.
"10:30am Tentative: Young Liberal Golf Tournament"
Wow, Now Greg Wilson gets a chance to avenge Mason Loh's loss to Wendy Yuan by challenging Mike Hillman to a game of golf!
Breakfast with Paul Martin has been cancelled. There are even more events that have not been posted on here. There is going to be a ton of activity in Vancouver this week, including several leadership fundraisers and consultations with local leaders.
I was told that the number of Liberal at the Caucus Rally was very low. Someone said that there was less than 150 people including media, candidates and those from the other parties.
