Power couple together at last

Earlier, we reported on the departure of John Paul Fraser from Mark Marissen's government relations firm Burrard Communications Inc. Our readers speculated far and wide about a possible replacement for Mr. Fraser, with suggestions ranging from our 24 hours colleague Bill Tieleman to Webslinger Erik Bornman. But one poster wrote "Try his wife, Christy Clark." And now our operatives confirm the former provincial cabinet minister and mayoral nomination candidate will be joining Burrard as an equal partner - although she won't necessarily be working as a lobbyist. Instead, she'll be providing clients with strategic advice.

Figures.

But there's too many people giving "stragetic advice" chasing too few potential clients who could benfit.

Darn - I was sure I was still on the short list! One too many column on Paul Martin's mishaps I guess.

Ah, she has nothing to do and she's bored. Doesn't surprise me. I really think that after the leadership race, Burrard Communications will next to kaput.

I thought Christy quit as MLA to spend more time with Hamish.

Hello all. This Mr. Belevedere. I am the butler and babysitter for the Marissens. I am quitting to work at Burrard Communications

Damnit!

I wish I got the job. I had all the qualifications and such!

Trying to score cheap points your TDH Strategies today posts "(further crowding the glut of recently opened B.C. based, former Liberal staffer owned firms like THIS and THIS)."

Neglecting to mention the net effect it all would have on this:

Jonathan Ross is a communications professional with extensive experience within federal, provincial and municipal politics from across the country ... including the offices of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and the Minister of Natural Resources.

he who lives in a glass house ... etc, etc.

TDH says that John Fraser has started his own consulting business. Not true. He is working as staff at National Public Relations.

This was not TDH scoop, it was a Mr. Belvedere scoop. TDH is too busy being concerned about the weather in Richmond and enjoying 6 course meals with the higherups. I researched this one.

Jonathan Ross has ZERO political pull...

TDH is not a serious man....at all
