I am a conservative in Vancouver Kingsway and have found out by accident that an AGM is being held on March 1st. Apparently only people who are friendly to the stand in president Marilyn Brown were contacted. I as a Chinese person was denied contact because the Chinese community is apparently not happy with the crossing. I wonder if Mrs Brown has ever talked to any of the Chinese members.

I was also not the only person, I called a few other people and they too were not contacted about the AGM. Rumour has it that Mrs Brown wants to be president and fill the board with people who are loyal to only her. Last time I looked the membership had to be notified by mail or by a phone call for goodness sakes, so much for the constitution and grass roots!

The conservative party never seemed to have a problem calling myself or any of the others I know for donations when the election was on, but when it comes to an AGM they seem to have lost our names, numbers and mailing addresses!
