Despite rumours of war, it appears the spirit of detente may have made an appearance at last night's Non-Partisan Association board of directors meeting. According to our operatives, Matthew Taylor, who is married to former mayor Philip Owen's niece, was unanimously voted the association's interim president, following Paul Barbeau's abrupt resignation.
So can you now move on to more noteworthy news items than the NPA's house cleaning?
Sean!
I'm sending over a late Christmas gift for you and JLH...CROW PIE!
The rumours you printed were NONSENSE.
Please go back to good writings and something newsworthy. Everytime you get leaked "stuff" from the Greg Wilson end of the world, it's always bull.....Barbeau got what he deserved and Taylor will be an exceptionally good President.
Let's move on!
You would think Dale McClanaghan would have better things to do than post about himself on this website. I almost spat my water out when I read the comment about him being the best NPA leader.... What an absolute joke. Sam Sullivan has revealed his weakness and Paul Barbeau is too good for the entire lot. The NPA can carry on now - destroying everything that is ever good about it. Can't wait for Jen Clarke to crawl out from under her rock and meet up with Dale for a latte.
bsDetector,
ROTFLMAO!!!
See if you can't do us all a favour and choke on that water next time......what's the matter, the New West air not agreeing with you? Not enough to do, as usual? McClanaghan was indeed one of the very best, and it wasn't his posting. Sullivan has no weakness, and Jen has a lot of image rehab to do before venturing from the warm embrace of South Shaughnessy.
But, don't worry or get so excited, you'll be back on your knees in no time. You could call Paul, thankfully, he's got lots of time on his hands now......
Take good care.
Oh Dale, you are such a little bitch! Love it when you call yourself "one of the very best" makes me think of Jack Handy pumping himself up in the mirror. Quick! rush your own defence!!!!!
Colin is not a Vancouver voter and is not qualified to sit as a NPA board member.
