Will there be more Non-Partisan Assocation blood-letting at tonight's board of directors meeting? As has just been reported by agent provocateur Jamie Lee Hamilton, speculation among senior civic party members is that there could be an attempt to replace Yvonne De Valone and Andrew Graham as the association's vice-president and treasurer. Our astute readers will, of course, be aware Mr. Graham was the best man at former president Paul Barbeau's wedding and a childhood friend. And Ms. De Valone is said to have questioned the validity of the resolution appointing Doug Leung and Colin Metcalfe to the board and whether they should attend said meeting.
What a bunch of nutters that are feeding you lies, Sean!
This is a story?
There isn't one shred of evidence to even support such BS. Graham did a great job as Tresurer and DeValone is a most valued member.
But, see, that's the problem when Jaime Lee gets fed information by the Wingnut. Guess he doesn't have enough to do for Mary in New West...
JLH has her boa on too tight and it's constricting her brain.
NO STORY here at all. It won't happen.
Actually this is fairly big news, in that the implication is that the mostly Fed Lib NPA is being taken over by the mostly Fed Con Sullivan crew. The funny thing is that this being the Terminal City, most NPA stalwarts will take it in stride. I can just see the Jennifer Clarke-types all "hmm, I don't really like it, but Sam's the mayor right now, so we'd all better see where this goes."
Ahh, another Vancouver institution on it's way out. It seems like we lose one a week.
where is Berneas Gerard or Nathan Devinski when the NPa is having melt down issues
well I think Paul can go form TEAM with Andrew, Greg, Janet, Judy, Yvonne and anyone else on the Christy Team.
