Goes to show you that Paul Martin is an idiot, using Ujjal "the snake" Dosanjh in the ads is not going to get him any more votes, he may lose some. Dosanjh virtually drove the Provincial NDP to the ground, now he will do the same for the grits, then he will jump to the Conservatives, and the cycle repeats...

I think that in 2004 showing Dosanjh in Liberal TV ads had a certain pull with some centrist voters who want to maintain a strong social safety net.

But Dosanjh has been a failure as Federal Health Minister and is in fact the man who's bungled and ham-handed discussions with his own former party sealed the fate of the 38th Parliament. The man who couldn't satisfy Jack Layton and Jean Crowder that privitization of health facilities would be stopped is also the same man who couldn't succeed in bribing Grumant and Nina Grewal, even with a man from the Prime Minister's office along to help close the deal.

I think the NDP should do a special series of small plastic yard signs for use in Vancouver South. Just a black background with blaze orange letters containing the deathless quote "Cabinet is quick!", and then Ujjal's name and date.

I have long contended that humans have a visceral instinct for recognizing a threat. Try it yourself. Think of Brian Mulroney. Gordon Campbell. Stockwell Day. George W. Bush. Doesn't your gut tell you not to buy a used car from any of these men?

Same with Ujjal Dosanjh. He's done great harm to B.C. with such quiet dignity, he's really a classic case. I hope he loses his deposit. And a few other bits, too.
