Role reversal?

Is provincial New Democrat caucus research officer and former party president Maura Parte, considering running for municipal politics? That's the rumour circulating among earnest elements of the port-leaning Victoria Civic Electors team. But when asked about the rumours, Ms. Parte, who is married to Victoria-Hillside MLA and former city councillor Rob Fleming, said "They're absolutely not true...I'm not seeking any municipal positions at this time." To which your humble organ replied, "That's not necessarily a no." But, apparently, "it is at this time, for this election," said Ms. Parte.

I dont know who is running but whoever it is could they PLEASE crack down on those annoying bongo drum players hanging outside the mall. Last time I was in Victoria, I felt like I was in Tijuana with all the begging. Honestly. Enough.

dagmar,

That was actually Sheila Orr's fundraising team. I think you are in the clear now.

Throwing stones at a losing candidate, Richard? Better take notice of the glass walls your own house is made of. Didn't you get the fewest votes in recorded history when you ran in Delta-South?

Sheila served with distinction and is respected by a lot of New Democrats in the Victoria-area because of the issues she championed.

There's two kinds of people I don't like, Jerry: bitter people, and losers. You seem to be both. Sheila Orr got lucky and rode the red wave. Then she got her ass kicked for being a poor representative. And she parked in handicapped spots. Jerry, ya gotta admit, that's just not cricket. At least Richard had the guts to run when being NDP wasn't cool. And he ran in one hell of a shitty riding. That takes guts. I respect that.

Go for it, Maura!

Jerry,

You will have to get in line behind me if you want to make fun of my candidacy in Delta-South.

I met a person after I starting dating my partner out there who met me and said "Hey, I voted for you!" I said, "GREAT! only 422 (er something like that) to go!"

Sheila should have never unpacked...anyone who thought the libs were going to hold onto that constituency needed their head examined...mind you the procedure wasn't covered any more so who can blame them?
