Earlier, Public Eye reported Allen Langdon was leaving his position as senior consultant with GPC International Inc. for whereabout unknown. But now, Mr. Langdon confirms he has been hired by government and public relations firm Reputations Corp. as their senior counsel. That appointment caused much twittering among Non-Partisan Association members. The reason: Mr. Langdon will likely be managing Vancouver city councillor Peter Ladner's campaign to become the association's mayoral candidate. But Reputations's founder and director is none other than Wayne Hartrick, who is a strong supporter of councillor Sam Sullivan, Mr. Ladner's principle competitor.

Who is Alan Langdon? Why should we care?
Curious Sean...
Is this Langlands fellow related to the Kevin Langdon who was running Copper Canoe Consulting? The same firm that was hired by the Nanaimo Indian Band Treaty group to "educate/sell" the Nanaimo Aboriginal community about the AIP 2 years ago...
And the same Kevin Langdon who 6 months previous to his creation of Copper Canoe Consulting, was serving as a special ministerial aid to Robert Nault, the now former Minister of Indian Affairs?
Boy... that really caused one hell of a screw up for the feds and the BC Treaty Process.
My relatives in Nanaimo hit the roof when they found out that their Treaty Group had basically hired one of Nault's bum-boys to "sell" them this AIP package.
Despite all the Hoopla that the Feds and the BC Treaty Commish were trying to make over this "groundbreaking AIP", the Nanaimo community at large informed the Feds and their Chief and Council that if they dared to even put this treacherous "Mike Rogers" peice of crap up AIP up for a vote, they would start roving road blockades and screw up ferry traffic and impeach the Chief and Council.
That's partly why nobody's heard a damn thing about the vaunted AIP in over 2 years.
Is this Langdon character related to Kevin Langdon?
And while I'm on the subject, do you know whatever happened to the "Great White Hope" of the BC Treaty Process Mike Rogers? I heard he was trying to get a Liberal Party Nomination at some point...
Another fact which caused a lot of unrest and unease within the Nanaimo community that had trusted the guy
Ooops... Sorry Sean, had the name wrong. I just googled the names "Kevin" and "Copper Canoe Consulting" and this is what I came up with.

You will note that he did indeed work for Copper Canoe Consulting, and prior to that served as a special ministerial aid to Robert Nault.
